Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Pastor Pierre has always loved learning and teaching about Jesus. It truly is his passion! Since high school, Pierre would ask the tough questions about our shared faith. He was always curious about what he couldn’t understand, and it was this curiosity that made him fall more and more in love with Jesus. 

 

His curiosity led him to Andrews University, where he eventually got his degree in Religion and knew he wanted to use his academic background to help be a bridge to Jesus for anyone else who might be curious, just like he’s always been. 

 

After college, Pierre started working in Adventist Education as a dean, then an elementary teacher, then a high school Bible teacher (his favorite!). He eventually married the love of his life, Alexandra, and she’s been at his side for all of life’s adventures ever since. They have a beautiful Bernedoodle named Indiana who would love to meet you! 

 

Today, Pastor Pierre serves the youth and young adults here in Skagit Valley. He’s the Youth & Young Adult pastor here at NCSDA, as well as the Chaplain across the street at Skagit Adventist Academy. 

 

He’s passionate about building community wherever he goes—whether it is on the basketball court, a coffee shop, a museum, or anywhere in between. His office is always open!
